I didn't have much time today to take pictures, so I simply snapped a few shots of a flower on my way back from Best Buy (where I acquired a case that actually holds all my stuff). None of the shots came out that well, and the flower itself looked a little demoralized to begin with. Learning to hold the lens steady will take some work.
That is an excellent shot! The flower is fully in focus with the background out of focus, and the background is interesting and adds to the overall photo. I like this one, very nice. I think it's time you started posting your photos a little bigger, they deserve it.
