Spent the day with my parents in a joint Father's Day/belated birthday celebration. After gorging myself at Red Lobster, I took a look around their yard and found this really pretty flower. The shots didn't come out quite as nice as I'd hoped, but I'm still pretty happy with them (especially considering that the wind was whipping the flower around a lot).
I think these shots came out awesome! Both of them are perfectly in focus. I struggle to get flowers in focus when there is just the slightest wind. I even avoid using my macro lens when it's even a little windy out. I'm really impressed with the bottom photo, it is super crisp for a close-up filter shot! Go Maxine!
