Today I spent about nine hours on Amtrak (first a train, then a bus). By the time I got to San Francisco, the sun was setting and I was more interested in dinner (mmmm Thai) than photo-taking. I ended up photographing Kerry's boyfriend Jesse playing Rock Band while she and I caught up. The lighting in their apartment is as bad (if not worse) than mine, so it didn't come out well. I do like the blur effect of his hand though—he was drumming really, really fast. The weird perspective (using a wide-angle lens from in between two of the cymbals) is also kind of fun.
