Today while bumming around Santa Barbara with my parents I finally picked up some refills for my favoritest pen ever (it's made of rosewood). Yes, I get emotionally attached to silly things like pens. I wanted part of the pen to be out of focus, but not quite as much as it is in this shot. Again, taking photos of small shiny objects proved surprisingly difficult.
